GiftBullseye is built to need as little information as possible. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no tracking cookies.

What you type

When you search, the description, occasion and budget you entered are sent to our AI provider to come up with gift ideas. They're used only to answer that one search. We don't save your descriptions, and we don't use them to identify anyone. Please don't include full names, addresses or other private details about the person you're buying for. A few words about what they like is all we need.

What our servers keep

Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as the time of a request and basic error details) to keep the site running and stop abuse. We use a temporary, anonymous request counter to limit how many searches can be made per minute.

Visit statistics

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count visits and see which pages and features get used, for example how many searches are made and how often someone taps through to Amazon. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites and doesn't collect anything that identifies you. It never receives what you typed.

Amazon links

When you tap a link to Amazon, you leave GiftBullseye. Amazon may use cookies to know you came from us, so we can earn a small commission if you buy. That doesn't change the price you pay. Amazon's own privacy notice applies on Amazon.

Fonts

Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads, as with any website that uses them.

Saved on your device

If you add GiftBullseye to your home screen, your phone keeps a copy of the page so it opens faster. Nothing you type is saved.

Kids

GiftBullseye isn't directed at children under 13.
